Grilled Rainbow Trout with Sambal

Ingredients:

2 rainbow trout fillets

3 tablespoons sambal oelek (chili paste)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Lime wedges for serving

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Marinade:

In a bowl, combine sambal oelek, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, and minced garlic. Mix well
​
2. Marinate the Trout:

Coat the trout fillets with the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

3. Grill the Trout:

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grate with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the marinated trout fillets for 4-5 minutes on each side until the fish is cooked through and has a nice char.
4. Serve:

Transfer the grilled trout to a serving plate. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side.
